The August Solar Eclipse 2017: The Beginning of 40 Days of Conversion Before Judgment, the Jewish Rabbi Remembers

On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will leave trails crossing from the Northwest of the United States to the coast of the Southeast Atlantic.   This unique astronomical phenomenon throughout the solar system, depicted in ancient Jewish sources and interpreted by a rabbi as a divine warning specifically to the United States.   The solar eclipse will occur on the last day of the month of Hebrews Av, a day known as  Yom Kippur Katan  , "a small conversion day." The morning after the solar eclipse we will enter in the Hebrew month of Elul, traditionally known as the "moon of repentance" where the Jews will start blowing the shofar every morning for a period of 40 days of earnest conversion, and reciting the prayers of dawn prayer Known as slichot (forgiveness), which will reach his culmination on  Yom Kippur  (The Day of Atonement).   This is all directly related to the 40-day event when Moses was on the summit of Mount Sinai to plead for redempt...
